Coffee Machine Servicing
What we offer at Capital Coffee
Coffee Machine servicing
All our service engineers are fully trained on the range of machines we supply from pour and serve, bulk brew, traditional espresso to the most sophisticated bean to cup machines as well as coffee grinders.
While we directly employ our own service engineers we occasionally use independent service engineers so that we can guarantee service support across the country.
Although we operate, and therefore service, a large number of machines which are either rented or loaned to our existing customers, we also service most other makes of machine when required.
We offer full service support to our customers. If the fault is simple, we try and save time and money by helping the customer resolve the problem over the phone. If it’s more complicated we aim to get to the customer the same day, often within hours – particularly if the problem is serious and they are unable to make coffee.
Most problems can be fixed onsite but if the machine needs more extensive work we supply a replacement machine until theirs is fixed so there’s minimum disruption to business.
If your machine needs attention, you’ll know the cost before we come out to you so you know where you stand. If we need to take your machine away to repair it, a loan machine will be included in the price. We will tell you if we feel the cost of repairing the machine is greater than it’s worth. We will be honest and straightforward so that you are always in control.
Sourcing and installing the right equipment is only half the story. It’s vital that you and/or your staff not only know how your coffee making equipment works but also how to produce and present a quality cup of coffee as this is what will ultimately determine whether your customer returns.
With this in mind Capital offers comprehensive training on all equipment on installation. Additionally we can arrange bespoke training sessions for your staff either on your own premises or at our showroom in Wimbledon. During these sessions we cover the basics of a cleaning and maintenance routine, how to adjust the grinder, making espresso, foaming and texturing milk, latte art and creating speciality drinks.
Although our Barista trainer will not necessarily turn staff into champion Baristas, he will teach best practice and instil in them a confidence and understanding of the product they are serving.
We believe training is of key importance and encourage all our clients to embrace it and the benefits it can bring.
As you would expect, Capital also supplies a full range of accessories and ancillary products to our customers, along with the supply of coffee.
A range of Barista accessories such as tampers, stainless steel jugs, thermometers, shakers etc are available. Ancillary products include:
China cups in 3 sizes: espresso, cappuccino and breakfast
Disposable ripple cups and lids (with Capital branding)
Sugar sticks: brown and white
Syrups from Monin
